Currently we're busy recording new material, which will result in our first full length album.
Besides some live-favourites such as 'just a blast' and 'fake', most of the material consists of brand new songs.
This will be our main focus for a while now, and we promise to post some sneak previews on this site as soon as they're available!
3rd Weekend of September we're gonna hit the stage of two pretty nice festivals. Saturday 19th you can see us at Kempenerpop (Waalre), next day at Impact Festival (Helmond). So that will be two sunsets in a row, something like a solar eclipse, you'd better not miss out on this one! And just to show that we're nice people: If you attend both shows you'll get our EP at half the price! See you there!
We’re proud to announce that we will perform at this year’s Nirwana Tuinfeest ! Saturday august 22th we’re gonna rock the stage of this much beloved festival. We achieved this by winning the finals of the Peelrockrally at OJC Nirwana, on a steamy night with good vibes from a great crowd. We damn well had a blast! We’re quite stoked to be added to the powerful line-up of this years edition of the festival, check it out at www.nirwanatuinfeest.nl. See you there!!
Our first EP is now available for sale! It contains three tracks and it runs over 22 minutes. We’ve created a new mix and it comes with some nice artwork, including lyrics. You can order it in our shop on this website, or you can buy it at one of our gigs.
We’re glad to announce that we’ve just finished writing our 50th song since we started out early 2007. We’re attempting to close the gate for a while as far as writing is concerned and focus on recording a good bunch of them, because aside from performing the songs, we’re not really sharing that much. Yes we know, we are very sorry! We’ve already laid down a couple of tracks and we’re planning to release a couple of EP’s while working on a full length album.
26-10-08 Yesterday we finished the master of our recordings at the HT-studio in Gemert. Though we only had a few hours, and we’re quite satisfied with the result, we also took home the separate dry tracks to produce our own mix.
12-10-08 As a last minute stand in for a cancelled band on the Hajjewa band contest at the Comeet in Someren, Jacuzy Sunset proved themselves by taking first prize. Somewhere early 2009 we will be back at the Comeet to play a full length set.
29-09-08 Last Saturday we recorded 3 songs at the HT-studio in Gemert, we laid down the drums and bass in about an hour. Guitar and vocals were added later. The next day we went back to start with some of the mixing, next month we will return to finish the mix and to create the final master. The songs are: Tuck Me In, Satellites & Butterflies and Morning Breeze.
